Batting programme
Not yet bowledFront foot, back foot, and the shot you keep getting out to. Batting groups are capped at six players per turf strip so every batter gets a proper net, not a queue.
Technique nets
Trigger movement, head position and shot selection against a bowling machine at 110–135 kmph.
Match simulation
Chase a target with a scoreboard running: 40 balls, changing field, live commentary from the coach.
Red-ball session
Long-format batting for club and school players. Two-hour occupation of the crease, no shortcuts.
- Every session is filmed: side-on and front-on angles reviewed the same evening.
- Individual batting logs: balls faced, dismissals by shot, control percentage.
- Kolkata league players get a pre-match plan against the opposition's main bowler.
Fielding & fitness
Not yet bowledMatches in Bengal are decided by the ten runs you save, not the ten you score. Fielding gets its own hour, every single day.
Ground fielding
Attack the ball, one-hand pick-up, direct-hit drills at the stumps from 20 yards.
Catching circuit
Slip cordon reaction work, high catches under floodlights, close-in helmet drills.
Strength & running
Yo-yo test benchmarks, hamstring and shoulder conditioning with a certified trainer.
Fitness scores are recorded every six weeks and shared with parents along with the attendance sheet.
Bowling & spin coaching
Not yet bowledTwo separate streams: pace, and spin. Bengal produces spinners, and we coach them properly: loop, drift, and a second variation you can bowl under pressure.
Run-up & load
Rhythm, front-arm and safe landing mechanics. Workload capped by age-group ball counts.
Off, leg & left-arm
Revolutions first, then flight. Target mats for length discipline over six-ball sets.
Death overs
Yorker sets to a marked block, wide-line plans, and bowling to a set field with a scoreboard chasing.
- Age-appropriate over limits followed for U-12 and U-14 to protect young backs.
- Side-on video every fortnight, compared frame by frame with the previous clip.
- Wicketkeepers train alongside the spin group twice a week.
Age groups & fees
Not yet bowledOne flat monthly fee per batch. Kit, turf time, indoor nets and video review are all inside it. Nothing is billed separately later.

Rehan Ali

A qualified physio visits every Saturday, and the U-16 and Open groups get a match-day mentor for league fixtures.
Ground & facilities
Not yet bowledTwo grounds: the main turf square at Salt Lake and a covered indoor facility in Behala for the monsoon months, so training never stops in June and July.
Four turf wickets
Rolled and prepared through the week: two red-soil strips, two black-soil, plus practice strips at both ends.
Six covered nets
Full-run-up length under lights. Open through the monsoon, with a synthetic turf surface.
Bowling machine
Two machines up to 140 kmph, with swing and spin settings and a side-arm thrower for reaction work.
Video room
Two-camera capture with slow-motion review on a large screen after every technique session.
- Floodlights on the main square, so the Open batch trains from 6 pm under lights.
- Changing rooms, drinking-water station and a small physio bay on site.
- Parents' seating along the boundary rope, with shade.
Trials & admission
Not yet bowledOpen trials on the first and third Sunday of every month, 8:00 am at the Salt Lake ground. Bring your own kit if you have it, and we lend gear if you do not.
