Craft notes
What the loupe was made for
Metal
We cast in 950 platinum and recycled 18k gold, refined in Jaipur. Every ingot is assayed before it reaches the bench, and every finished piece carries its BIS hallmark and HUID.
Stone-setting
Micro-claw work under ten-power magnification. Each claw is raised, notched and tipped by hand so the stone sits flush and the metal almost disappears around it.
Finishing
No machine polish. Surfaces are burnished with steel and leather until they hold a mirror, then the inner faces are left matte so the struck marks stay crisp for a lifetime.
Bespoke commissions
Made once, for one person
A commission begins with a conversation at the atelier and ends, six to ten weeks later, with a piece that exists nowhere else.
